There are still loose ends to explore, not least the OGCs who Ian Buckells was working with, as well as the other corrupt serving officers who had to have abetted his plans for them to fully work. Specifically, what happens to Ted is a big cliffhanger, but there are also suggestions in the finale that the H reveal wasn't as complete as it may have initially seemed. Even without the specter of H - or the "fourth man" - and the Caddy still holding sway over everything, there is more than enough potential to continue Anti-Corruption investigations in the police force. The idea that it could simply end is near unthinkable. Frequently cited as being among the greatest British shows of all time, Line of Duty has also, impressively, built its audience up by a factor of more than three drawing in not only millions of viewers but the very top level of British TV acting talent. Since debuting in 2012, the BBC drama has captivated audiences, becoming an event television experience in the post-event era for the UK and beyond. Line of Duty series 6 has come to a halt after another series of typical twists and turns as Ted Hastings' AC-12 chased the tail of H and OCG while fighting for the life of his unit, but what comes next?
